John's legacy began many years ago, when the current owner, Thomas, took over a small restaurant in Val Thorens. Since then, he has been passionately shaping some of the finest dining experiences in the region. Today, his commitment to excellence continues, ensuring that every guest at John’s American is treated to a unique and memorable experience. Our team, made up of primarily Swedish and Danish staff, proudly speaks English as fluently as any American.
Our mission is to immerse you in the spirit of Val Thorens. We’re more than happy to share our local knowledge, from the best ski slopes to the perfect spots for relaxation and sunbathing. From day one, we’ve been devoted to satisfying the appetites of Val Thorens, and as our reputation has grown, so has our menu. What started as a small selection has evolved into a diverse range of specialties, offering everything from succulent ribs to flavorful Thai nems. We believe in catering to every taste, making sure that our guests always have something exciting to enjoy.
